Police: 1 dead after crash between scooter, vehicle in Hyde Park; road closed
One person is dead after a crash between a scooter and a car in Cincinnati's Hyde Park neighborhood.It happened around 10:30 a.m. along Erie Avenue at Pinehurst Avenue.The crash prompted a large police presence, shutting down the road. Police on scene told WLWT a Vespa scooter collided with a moving vehicle. The driver of the scooter, identified only as 26-year-old man, died at the scene. His identity has not been released.Cincinnati's Traffic Unit is investigating.
