Plane crashes into homes in Nashua

A small aircraft crashed on Wednesday afternoon in a residential neighborhood in Nashua. The incident occurred at a residential complex near Cannongate Road, across from Nashua Airport. The crash, which took place around 2:15 p.m., involved only the pilot, who was the sole occupant. After striking a home's roof, the plane overturned near a parking lot. Fortunately, the pilot managed to exit the aircraft with the assistance of onlookers and was transported to a hospital for treatment. While the extent of the pilot's injuries remains unclear, no other injuries were reported. According to Fire Chief Steve Buxton, the pilot may have been practicing takeoffs and landings at the airport prior to the accident. The Federal Aviation Administration is set to lead the investigation at the crash site in the coming days.
