PHOTOS: Crawford Co. Rollover crash leaves car heavily damaged, driver transported
(WJET/WFXP)-- A rollover crash in Crawford County sent one person to the hospital Saturday night and left the vehicle with heavy damage after a speedy response from firefighters. According to the Summit Township Fire Department Facebook, several calls for that crash came in around 10:21 pm Saturday night, around the area of State Highway 18 and Lakeland Drive. Crews arrived on scene to find the car on its side off the road, with the driver stuck inside the vehicle after it appeared to have struck a nearby tree. Firefighters were safely able to extract the driver and transport them to Meadville Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. The Summit Township Fire Department said it took roughly 12 minutes from when their crews were dispatched to the call to extricate the driver.
