Person trapped after car crashes down embankment into water in Mifflin County
A driver avoided injury after crashing down an embankment into a body of water. The single-vehicle wreck happened Thursday on Coffee Run Road, according to the Reedsville Fire Company , whose crews responded to the incident. Firefighters arrived to find the vehicle down an embankment, on its side and in the water, with someone trapped inside. Crews helped free the driver, who was "thankfully" not injured, the Reedsville Fire Company wrote in a Facebook post. The fire company did not specify if it's known what caused the crash.
