Person seriously injured after car runs off road, hits guardrail on I-95
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- One person was seriously injured after a car ran off the roadway and crashed into the guardrail on Interstate 95 in Henrico County early Sunday morning. Virginia State Police said the crash happened near Exit 84A on Sunday, June 7. Based on preliminary information, a sedan was traveling southbound when it ran off the left side of the roadway and hit the guardrail. According to witnesses, the car had passed them at a high speed before the crash. Police said one person was in the car at the time and was ejected during the incident. They had life-threatening injuries. Further information, including the victim's identity, was not immediately available. Police continue to investigate.
