Person killed in Pearl River County car crash
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Ms. (WGNO) — A person is dead following a car crash in Pearl River County Saturday, March 14. According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, 58-year-old Terrence Nix of Hattiesburg was killed in the crash. He was driving a 2021 Dodge Challenger south on Interstate 59 when it collided with a 2018 International box truck traveling north, driven by Ivis Gamaliel with a passenger, Joel Martinez Jr. Nix received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. Gamaliel and Martinez were injured and taken to a local hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
