Person killed in Greenwich crash on Ritch Avenue West, police say
GREENWICH — One person was killed in a crash that closed a portion of Ritch Avenue West on Sunday morning, police said. Greenwich police Officer Sabrina Diaz said the closure occurred around 2:10 a.m. and remained closed as of 11 a.m. She said it was unknown how long the area would be closed, as the scene had been cleared but utility work remained underway. The road was closed between Byram Shore Road and the entrance to Byram Park, police said in a Facebook announcement. The nearby entrance ramp to I-95 north was also closed as a result, police said. There was no further information on the crash.
