Pennsylvania man dead after vehicle goes over cliff, crashes into creek: state police

One person is dead and another was injured after their vehicle fell down a cliff and into a creek in Franklin County on Thursday. Russell Booher, 45, of Mount Union, Pennsylvania, was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders, according to a crash report released by Pennsylvania State Police. According to the report, Booher's vehicle left the road and struck an embankment. It then continued through the grass and over a cliff, where it struck a tree and then landed on its roof in the Conococheague Creek. Civilians on scene helped pull Booher and the passenger out of the vehicle. The passenger was transported to the hospital for what are believed to be minor injuries.
