Pedestrian killed in Fairfax County crash, driver facing DUI charges

A man was killed early Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Lincolnia, according to Fairfax County police. Officers responded around 5 a.m. to the intersection of Little River Turnpike and Southland Avenue, where they found a pedestrian who had been struck. Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the driver of the striking vehicle was located nearby and has been charged with driving under the influence .
