Pedestrian killed in early-morning collision with semi truck in Puyallup

A 25-year-old man was killed early Sunday after being struck by a semi truck in Puyallup, police said. Puyallup Police responded to the collision at about 3:10 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Levee Road. The pedestrian, a 25-year-old male, was declared dead at the scene. Police said the driver of the semi truck was cooperative, questioned, and released at the scene. The Metro Major Collision Response Team responded to investigate the collision. Washington State Patrol Commercial Vehicle Enforcement also responded because a commercial vehicle was involved.
