Pedestrian killed in early morning accident on Hudson Avenue
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman has died after she was struck by a vehicle on Hudson Avenue. Rochester police say that just before 4 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the 900 block of Hudson Avenue, where they found a deceased adult female and a damaged vehicle occupied by the driver. Authorities say that the vehicle was driving south on Hudson Avenue when it fatally struck the woman. The driver was uninjured. The police have not identified the woman, and the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office has taken custody of her body. Police have ruled out alcohol and drugs as factors at this time. The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact 911.
