Pedestrian involved in vehicle crash prompts street closures near Mansion Flats, according to police
According to the Sacramento Police Department, a pedestrian was killed in a car accident near Mansion Flats, leading to the closure of several streets on Monday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of North 16th Street and North C Street around 5:30 a.m. Police attempted life-saving measures, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the hospital. North 16 Street and North C Street are currently closed, with detours in place at North B Street and Ahern Street. Motorists are advised to find alternative routes. The major collision investigation unit of the police department is looking into the accident.
