Passenger killed in fatal accident in southeast Indianapolis
Late Tuesday night, a fatal crash occurred on the southeast side of Indianapolis. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirmed one person lost their life in the two-vehicle collision involving a gray Ford and a red Chrysler on Southeastern Avenue. The passenger of the red Chrysler was critically injured and later succumbed to their injuries at a local hospital. Authorities do not suspect impairment to be a factor. The IMPD Fatal Crash Investigation Team is leading the inquiry into the incident.
