Oregon State pitcher injured in car accident has ‘serious medical condition,’ school confirms
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- An Oregon State University pitcher was injured after a car accident, officials confirmed. According to Oregon State, freshman pitcher Tyler Bellerose was injured in an automobile accident that left him in a "serious medical condition." "We ask Beaver Nation to keep Tyler, his family and Beaver Baseball in your thoughts and surround them with support during this time," OSU said in a statement. Details about the accident are currently unknown, but KOIN 6 News has reached out to authorities for more information. Oregon State was supposed to play against the University of Oregon on Tuesday night; however, the game was postponed. It is currently unknown if the accident is the reason for the cancellation.
