Oregon man dies after driving into ditch, getting ejected from car
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- An Oregon man died on Wednesday morning after driving into a ditch off Hwy 18, Oregon State Police said. The crash occurred just after 5:45 a.m. near milepost 38 in Yamhill County. Investigators say that Phillip Estes was traveling west in a Chevy Silverado when the car left the lane for unknown reasons. "The vehicle entered the westbound ditch, struck a culvert, and rolled over. The operator was ejected from the vehicle," OSP said. Estes was declared dead at the scene.
