One killed and two other injured in crash in Carbon County
Pennsylvania State police are investigating a crash in Carbon county that left one person dead and two others injured. State police say the crash happened Saturday around 12:15 a.m. at the 50 block of Main Street in Banks Township. Investigators say the vehicle was heading west on Main St. and lost control while navigating a curve to the left. The car dropped down an embankment and hit several trees on the driver side. Police say 19-year-old Perla Decena Castillo was pronounced dead on scene. The second passenger and driver sustained minor injuries. Police believe the driver was suspected of driving under the influence.
