One person transported on Flight for Life after a car crash involving two others in Pleasant Prairie
A Kenosha County car crash on June 20 near Highway 165 and Sheridan Road injured three people, requiring one of them to be flown to a hospital via Flight for Life, according to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department. Officials say one car was traveling southbound on Sheridan Road when a car traveling northbound tried turning left onto Highway 165, resulting in the crash. Due to the severity of the crash, the Kenosha County Major Crash Assistance Team responded to assist with the investigation.The Pleasant Prairie Police Department thanks the following agencies for their assistance: Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue, Winthrop Harbor Police Department, Winthrop Harbor Fire Department, and Flight for Life.Pleasant Prairie police remind motorists of the importance of wearing seat belts while traveling in a motor vehicle.Police said speeding and impairment do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
