One person hospitalized after U.S. 65 crash Monday morning
A serious injury occurred today on U.S. 65 just north of Springfield when a person was hit by a vehicle while trying to clear debris from the highway. The incident took place in the southbound lanes at mile marker 59.4. The injured individual has been taken to a nearby hospital, and the Missouri Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident, according to Sgt. Mike McClure.
