One person dead after head-on crash on Highway 20 Sunday evening
One person is dead and another is seriously hurt after a head-on crash in Black Hawk County Sunday evening. The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 20 near Cedar Falls. A preliminary investigation found a car crossed the center line and hit a car heading westbound. Both drivers were seriously hurt. One was taken to the hospital where they later died. The other driver was airlifted to the University of Iowa hospitals for treatment. Iowa State Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
