One person dead after crash on I-670 in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One person has died in Kansas City, Missouri following a crash on Sunday morning. Investigations revealed that an unidentified GMC SUV was traveling eastbound on I-670 at a high rate of speed in a traffic lane when the driver struggled to deal with a curve in the road. The GMC hit an impact attenuator at the gore point and came to a stop against a concrete bridge pillar. The vehicle then caught on fire. The lone occupant in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still investigating the crash.
