One man dead after being rear-ended in Olathe crash Monday morning

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One man has died after a crash in Olathe Monday morning. Investigations revealed that a 2021 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Interstate 35 when the driver hit the rear bumper and trunk of a 2008 Cadillac DTS also traveling southbound. The Cadillac bounced off the Camry and hit an outside barrier wall before continuing to drive down the shoulder of the road and hitting the barrier wall. The Cadillac then went into a grass shoulder over a small hill, went airborne and rolled before coming to a stop on its roof. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Isaiah Foster, died from his injuries. The driver of the Camry was suspected to have minor injuries. Olathe police are still investigating the crash.
