Man killed in 2-vehicle crash on Kansas Turnpike
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - A Kansas man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Kansas Turnpike in Leavenworth County Thursday morning. It happened in the west lanes of Interstate 70 around 1:15 a.m. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a Jeep Wrangler made an unsafe lane change a struck the rear of Honda Civic. The Civic left the highway and struck a delineator post before ending up in a treeline. The driver of the Civic, 44-year-old Roberto Lemus of Kansas City, was killed in the crash. The driver of the Jeep wasn't injured.
