One killed in traffic crash on 5600 West near California Ave in Salt Lake City, road closed
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash in Salt Lake City on SR-172 near California Ave. According to Salt Lake City Police Department, the crash happened at 1650 S 5600 West or SR-172, and 5600 West/SR-172 is closed between 1730 South and California Avenue while the investigation is ongoing. According to UDOT, the incident happened around 8:48 a.m. and it is affecting southbound traffic. ABC4 has a camera crew on the way to the scene and is working to learn more information.
