One killed in early morning crash in Upstate
ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - A man was killed early Saturday morning in a wreck in Anderson County, according to officials. According to Anderson County Coroner's Office, just before 4 a.m. Saturday, Anderson County Dispatch received a call reporting a wreck on S.C. Highway 187 at Nautical Way in Anderson. At the scene first responders found 28-year-old Jonathan Sexton, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner's office said a preliminary investigation shows Sexton was driving on S.C. 187 when he ran off the side of the road, causing his car to flip and ejecting him from the vehicle. His death has been ruled an accident. The wreck remains under investigation by the highway patrol and coroner's office.
