One dead, one in hospital after Mercer County crash
COOLSPRING Twp., Pa. (WKBN) -- A woman died, and a man sustained suspected serious injuries after a crash in Coolspring Township on Tuesday night. Reports said that Kimberly A. Lawson, 60, of Franklin, Pennsylvania, died in the crash. PSP said that Lawson, the driver, was traveling east on Franklin Road just east of Johnston Road and did not follow a right curve. The vehicle struck a road sign and a ditch. The car went airborne and struck a utility pole. Reports said that neither person was wearing a seatbelt. Lawson died at the scene, while the man was taken to the hospital. The area is back open.
