One dead, multiple injured in fatal Moanalua Freeway crash
MOANALUA, Oahu (KHON2) -- A man is dead, and multiple people were injured after a crash on Moanalua Freeway, Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said. It happened on Friday, June 5, in the eastbound direction before the King Street off-ramp. Four vehicles and a total of seven people were involved, according to the Honolulu Fire Department. Two were taken to the hospital in critical condition, and three were taken in serious condition. HFD said that when they arrived on the scene, they used rescue tools to remove one person from a vehicle, while the rest were able to exit on their own. This is a developing story.
