One dead in Skaneateles due to excavator incident, sheriff's office verifies
The Public Information Officer of the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, Tom Newton, has informed NewsChannel 9 that a person has passed away in a digging incident. The event occurred at 1780 Coon Hill Road in Skaneateles around 10:30 a.m., according to 911 reports. An adult male was transported to Upstate Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to the injuries.
