One dead after SUV strikes parked school bus near 34th Street and The Paseo
Kansas City police are investigating a fatal crash involving a parked school bus on Monday afternoon near 34th Street and The Paseo.The crash took place at about 3:20 p.m.A red Toyota SUV was heading south on The Paseo from Linwood Boulevard at a high speed when it hit a school bus parked in front of a school.Police say early findings suggest the SUV driver may have had a medical emergency before the crash.The driver of the Toyota died at the scene.The school bus driver had minor injuries and was treated for soft-tissue damage.
