One dead after head-on crash on U.S. 290 in southwest Travis County
One person is dead following a head-on collision on Wednesday evening in southwest Travis County, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. ATCEMS said crews responded around 6 p.m. to the 10700 block of West U.S. 290 near Fitzhugh Road after receiving reports of a head-on crash involving two vehicles. A second adult was transported to St. David's South Austin Medical Center with minor injuries, according to ATCEMS.
