One dead after crash between COTA bus, pickup truck
Columbus Police were called to the intersection of Allegheny Avenue and Stelzer Road at 7:18 p.m. because of a reported crash involving a COTA bus and a pickup truck. One person was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead, according to CPD. An officer on the scene shared that the bus driver was not at fault, and the bus was rear-ended by the pickup truck. The Accident Investigation Unit has been called to the scene.
