OHP: 8-year-old dies in ATV accident
Authorities say an 8-year-old has died following an accident with an ATV. Around 10 p.m. on Wednesday night, emergency crews were called to an accident in Pushmataha County. Investigators say an 8-year-old was traveling too fast on Short Trail Rd. when they tried to make a turn, causing the ATV to roll. The child was thrown from the vehicle, and it came to rest on top of them. Sadly, the child, who was not identified, died from their injuries.
