Northern Kentucky police investigating after 1 killed in crash on Madison Pike
Northern Kentucky police say that one person is dead after a crash occurred in Fort Wright on Friday.The crash reportedly occurred on Madison Pike near the road's intersection with Highland Pike just before midnight.Fort Wright Police Chief Jonathan Colwell confirmed to WLWT that one person was later pronounced dead as a result of the incident.Scanner traffic from the crash suggests that the person who was killed may have been a pedestrian, but police were not immediately able to confirm this to WLWT.The Kenton County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is now taking the lead in the investigation.This is a breaking news story and will be updated as WLWT learns more.
