Northbound I-5 blocked in Ridgefield after early morning crash
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Two people died Monday morning after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 5 near Ridgefield. The crash happened at Milepost 12 near SR 502 shortly after 3:30 a.m., officials said. According to the Washington State Patrol, one driver was traveling the wrong way and colided head on with another car. killing both drivers. No one else was in either car, officials said. Due to the crash, all northbound lanes of I-5 are closed near milepost 12, the Washington Department of Transportation said.
