Northampton motorcyclist killed in I-91 crash in Windsor
WINDSOR, Conn. (WWLP) - A Northampton man has died following a crash on I-91 in Windsor Monday night. The Connecticut State Police report that a 2019 Toyota Tacoma and a 2010 Streetfighter Ducati were both headed north on I-91 when the Ducati rear-ended the truck for an unknown reason. The crash caused the Ducati to go into the paved median on the left side and strike the jersey median barrier. The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and ended up on the southbound side of I-91. The motorcyclist, identified as 26-year-old Juan Miguel Martinez of Northampton, was taken to Hartford Hospital, where he died. The driver of the truck was not injured, and the vehicle received minor damage. Connecticut State Police are asking if you witnessed the crash or have dashboard camera footage to email [email protected].
