No charges for BCSO officer in deadly car accident

The incident, where Lassley rear-ended driver Alexandra Gerard during a pursuit, resulted in her tragic death. The investigation highlighted concerns such as the absence of a dash camera in Lassley's patrol car and issues in how the Albuquerque Police Department handled the case. Despite this outcome, BCSO is now undertaking its internal affairs investigation following the DA's decision. Meanwhile, a wrongful death lawsuit by Gerard's family against BCSO and Lassley is currently underway in court.
