Multiple vehicle accident shuts down portion of I-77 South
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) -- An accident involving three vehicles shut down part of I-77 South near Exit 98 in Charleston Saturday night, according to Kanawha County dispatchers. The original call came in as an accident with injuries just before 9 p.m. Traffic was moving slowly through the area for nearly an hour and drivers were urged to use caution when travelling through the area. The Charleston Police Department, Charleston Fire Department, and EMS crews responded. There's no word on the extent of the injuries at this time. This is a developing story.
