Motorcyclist pronounced dead after I-89 crash

BERLIN, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - A motorcyclist was pronounced dead in a single-vehicle crash on I-89 Thursday night. State police responded to the scene, and say that the operator was identified as 26-year-old Journiann Leclair, of Williamstown. She was reportedly driving south bound on a 2022 Harley Davidson Nightster and struck a guard rail, authorities report. The motorcycle only sustained front-end damage, but Leclair was found unresponsive. She was pronounced dead on-scene. Investigations into the crash are ongoing, and VSP says that people should contact the Berlin Barracks if they have information about the incident. I-89 was reportedly closed to traffic for a 9-mile southbound stretch Thursday evening, opening after about two hours.
