Motorcyclist killed in West Jordan crash identified

WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — Police have identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred in West Jordan on Sunday evening. According to the West Jordan Police Department (WJPD), there was a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan in the intersection of Banquet Avenue and Cougar Lane in West Jordan around 8:10 p.m. on Sunday evening. When they arrived at the scene, they found a motorcyclist in serious condition and attempted life-saving measures. Unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased on scene. WJPD has now identified the motorcyclist as 25-year-old Abram Alvarado. At this time, police have not identified the driver of the other vehicle but previously stated that they are cooperating with authorities. The crash itself remains under investigation.
