Motorcyclist killed in crash with SUV: Sheriff’s office
GREEN, Ohio (WJW) -- The Summit County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash in Green that left a motorcyclist dead. The crash happened around 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7 and involved a motorcycle and a 2021 Ford Explorer, the sheriff's office said in a news release. According to investigators, the explorer was going north on South Arlington Road. As it turned left into an apartment complex, the motorcyclist, heading south on South Arlington Road, hit the passenger side the SUV and was thrown from the bike. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, investigators said. He was only identified as a 26-year-old man from the City of Green, according to the news release. The crash remains under investigation.
