Motorcyclist killed in Citrus Heights crash, roads impacted
(FOX40.COM) — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash on Monday, according to the Citrus Heights Police Department. CHPD said officers received reports of a crash around 11:30 a.m. on southbound Van Maren Lane, just south of Auburn Boulevard. A motorcycle and a vehicle crashed, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, CHPD said. The driver of the car stayed and is cooperating with officers. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash. The impacted road will remain closed for the next few hours. CHPD traffic investigators are on scene.
