Motorcyclist in Tooele charged with murder following deadly crash in May

In Lehi, Utah, a man from Tooele is facing serious charges after causing a fatal motorcycle crash while allegedly under the influence of alcohol. The incident resulted in the death of his passenger. Justin Kimball Strickland, 31, is accused of multiple offenses including murder, driving under the influence, reckless driving, and traffic violations. Court records indicate that on May 3, Strickland was riding on Redwood Road with his girlfriend as a passenger, and witnesses observed him driving recklessly before colliding with another vehicle at an intersection. This resulted in both individuals being ejected from the motorcycle, with Strickland sustaining severe injuries and his girlfriend tragically passing away. Investigators found that Strickland was over the legal alcohol limit and was driving well above the speed limit. Despite his claims of not consuming alcohol, evidence from a bar shows otherwise. Strickland's past convictions and lack of appropriate licensure have also been brought to light. As of now, he has not been arrested.
