Motorcyclist in critical but stable condition after downtown Syracuse crash
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse Police say a man is in critical but stable condition after his motorcycle collided with a car just outside Dinosaur BBQ in downtown Syracuse. Sergeant Thomas Blake said in a statement that on Sunday, June 21, around 7:30 p.m., police responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a sedan. Sgt. Blake said the preliminary investigation indicates the crash happened at the intersection after the motorcycle was traveling southbound on North Franklin Street. The 34-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was found with serious injuries and was taken to Upstate Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, but is stable. The driver of the sedan was evaluated on scene, but wasn't taken to the hospital. Syracuse Police Department's Traffic Division is investigating what happened, and asks anyone with information to call (315) 442-5130.
