Motorcyclist identified in deadly Asheville crash: Police
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) -- A deadly crash is under investigation in Asheville, police said. The Asheville Police Department said the crash occurred at the 1700 block of Hendersonville Road around 10:43 p.m. on July 1. A group of motorcycles were traveling north when one entered an intersection and was struck by a car turning onto Turtle Creek Drive. The motorcyclist, 20-year-old Subastion James Samuel Cruz-Galyon, was ejected from his bike in the crash. He was taken to Mission Hospital, where he later died. The investigation is active and ongoing. Officers will consult the Buncombe County District Attorney's Office following the investigation.
