Motorcyclist dies in rural Huntington County crash
HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- One person has died in a motorcycle crash in Huntington County. An individual was driving a motorcycle Saturday evening when he lost control and crashed into a guardrail, according to the Huntington County Sheriff's Department. The crash happened at around 4:20 p.m. on the northbound side of SR 5, just north of CR 600 N. Upon striking the guardrail, the driver was ejected from the motorcycle and was found on a nearby embankment by first responders. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Huntington County Coroner has not yet released the person's identity. The crash remains under investigation.
