Motorcyclist dies after crash with ODOT vehicle on I-84
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Washington motorcyclist died after a two-vehicle crash on I-84 on Tuesday, Oregon State Police said. Around 11:51 a.m., OSP responded to a fatal crash report involving two vehicles. According to authorities, the operator of a black Harley Davidson motorcycle, named Ryan Christopher King, 38, crashed behind an Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) attenuator vehicle operated by Tristan David Service, 42, on I-84 near The Dalles. At the time, Service was supporting a mobile brooming operation on the road. Authorities said King was pronounced dead at the scene, and Service was uninjured.
