Motorcyclist dead after crash in Lockport
Lockport, N.Y. — New York State Police said a motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday in Niagara County. Troopers responded to Fisk Road in Lockport around 8:20 p.m. and determined an motorcycle motorcycle traveling "at an extreme rate of speed" struck a westbound SUV that was turning south into a driveway, according to police. The motorcyclist, 21-year-old Matthew Lauer of Lockport, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the SUV driver had minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
