Motorcyclist and truck collide in serious Hillsborough Avenue crash
According to a statement from the Tampa Police Department (TPD), a collision involving a truck and a motorcyclist occurred on Sunday evening along Hillsborough Avenue just after 4 p.m. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. As a result, the westbound lanes of Hillsborough Avenue between Himes Avenue and Dale Mabry Highway were temporarily closed. This incident is currently under investigation.
