Missouri man dies after UTV crash in Hollister
TANEY COUNTY, Mo. -- A 60-year-old man from Hollister is dead after his UTV crashed in Taney County overnight on Thursday, April 2. The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) says the crash occurred six miles south of Hollister in the area of the Clevenger Cove Boat Launch at approximately 12:10 a.m. According to the MSHP crash report, a 2017 Polaris Ranger UTV was driving on a private roadway when it overturned in a parking area, ejecting the driver. The driver of the UTV was pronounced dead on the scene, and the next of kin has been notified. The UTV suffered minor damage. This is the 28th fatality in MSHP Troop D in 2026.
