Mass. State Police vehicle involved in serious wrong-way crash on Route 1 in Saugus
A law enforcement patrol vehicle was involved in a serious crash early Wednesday on Route 1 in Saugus, Massachusetts.The crash happened on the northbound side of the highway on the Saugus/Lynnfield line.Info: Check TrafficRoute 1 northbound is closed at Walnut Street, MassDOT said. Closures are expected to remain in place for several hours.It's not clear if anyone was injured in the crash; however, accident reconstruction teams were sent to the scene.WCVB will have more information when it becomes available.
