Man taken into custody for involvement in fatal Hamilton crash
Last month in Hamilton, a Fairfield Township man was apprehended by the Hamilton Police Department (HPD) in connection to a tragic incident that led to the loss of three lives. Brandon Begley, aged 41, was charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide following the collision at the junction of River Road and Hooven Avenue on December 21st. The crash took the lives of Milton Alvarez Lagos, aged 35, Bety Salazar Lopez, aged 27, and 10-year-old Milton Salazar Alvarez due to severe injuries sustained. Reports unveiled that a maroon SUV disregarded traffic lanes on River Road, leading to a collision with multiple vehicles and resulting in fatal outcomes. After a comprehensive investigation spanning over four weeks and involving witness statements and video evidence analysis, HPD confirm that the incident unfolded as a consequence of a road rage altercation. Brandon Begley has been incarcerated at the Butler County Jail following the grand jury’s indictment.
